Beef Chilli

Ingredients

  • 1/2 tbsp Cumin
  • 1/2 tbsp Coriander
  • 1/2 tbsp Oregano
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 500g Beef Mince
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1 whole Red Chilli
  • 1/2 stick Celery
  • 1 Courgette
  • 1 slug Red Wine.
  • 2 x 400g cans Chopped Tomatoes
  • 400g Red Kidney Beans

Method

  1. Mix the spices together to make the seasoning.
  2. Brown the Beef with the Onions, Garlic and Courgette.
  3. Add the seasoning and cover the meat.
  4. Add the wine and then the Tomatoes.
  5. Simmer slowly until reduced to a thick sauce, finally add the beans.
