Croque Madame

Ingredients

  • 12g Butter
  • Pinch Nutmeg
  • 12g Flour
  • 2 Slices of Cheese
  • 2 Slices of Crusty Bread
  • 1 Egg
  • 120ml Milk
  • 2 Slices of Good Ham
  • 1 tsp Dijon Mustard

Method

  1. Melt the Butter in a pan.
  2. Slowly stir in the flout over the heat to make a basic white sauce.
  3. Add the Mustard, Nutmeg and saesoning.
  4. Toast Bread Lightly
  5. Arrange Ham and Cheese on the bread and top with the sauce
  6. Grill until browned.
  7. Serve topped with a fried Egg
