Ingredients

  • 400 g Strong white flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 300 ml water
  • 1 tsp bakers yeast

Method

  1. Mix the yeast into the water
  2. Sieve the flour into a bowl, add sugar and salt and mix
  3. Fold in water and yeast mix roughly to form a dough, cover with cling film and a tea towel, leave over night to prove.
  4. The following day flour a suitable surface and tip out the dough. Fold the dough to remove air and cover for 30 minutes.
  5. Place a clear casserole dish in the oven to warm and preheat oven to 260 degrees Celsius. Round 20 minutes.
  6. Carefully tip the dough into the dish, cover and place in the oven.
