Ingredients
- 2 slices of thick white bread
- 2 eggs
- 25g butter
Method
- For this recipe the bread should ideally be relatively thick slice to accomodate the egg without overflowing.
- Cut a circle or any shape you like in the centre of each slice of bread, this should be big enough so that the egg does not overflow.
- Heat the butter in a frying pan over a low heat, add the bread to the pan and crack an egg into the centre of the bread.
- Once the egg is set on one side flip the bread over to cook the other side.
